sun & snow

Will & Shelley's sheep, Charlie Brown, had a baby lamb! It was quite a surprise and we had to go over and see it. Smudge is that little black dot curled up on the ground. The little white lamb just behind Smudge was only born 2 weeks earlier...they sure grow fast!

We had to stay behind the fence so we won't scare the new mama

Chet explaining to the little ones how the racoon trap works

I think she enjoyed the swing...hard to tell since the sun was in her eyes so she wouldn't look up

Ryan and I have a great system worked out: we switch off Saturdays. Every other Saturday we take turns watching the girls and the other person gets to go do whatever they want. For me, I usually end up browsing through fabric stores or sewing. Ryan goes snowmobiling or hunting. His "Girl Day" usually isn't too different. He'll take Zoe and Kaia up in the mountains scouting or to the shop to work on his snowmobiles...and they LOVE it!! Its good for them to get all that Daddy time.

Even though we woke up to snow this morning, Zoe seems to think she is headed to Hawaii.

And if Zoe says "Cheese" then Kaia has to too!
