Last night, while our weather was still beautiful, we took a walk down by Foster Lake. There is a neat bike path along the lake that is about 1/2 mile long. Zoe had great fun pointing out all the flowers and birds and slugs, etc. Its wonderful to see nature through the eyes of a child. Kaia just loved being outside and watching the cars drive by. They both did not want to get in the car to go home!

I found a project for Zoe and me to do that would potentially help her learn about saving money. "We" made this cute little piggy bank today...Zoe got a little bored with the gluing and cutting so she decided to help Kaia pull out all of the pipe cleaners. She was quite proud of the finished product though!
