Finally....

Oh my! So much has happened while I haven't been able to blog. Kaia is now sitting up no problem. We're still continuing therapy and she seems to be doing very well. Zoe is getting more and more independent every day. Just this last week she came into the living room in the morning completely dressed all by herself! I almost teared up! Both the girls LOVE being outside so we're taking full advantage of these nice days we've had lately. Kaia laughs every time one of the dogs start to sniff her and if Kitty gets to close she reaches out and grabs her tail. I tried to get Zoe into a ballet class but she refused to even walk into the building so I think we'll have to postpone that one until she's a little older. Swimming lessons start in May for both the girls so that will be fun and Chet and Zane will be taking them with us! We've had a couple birthdays and are looking forward to Ryan's this next month. We've had a playdate or two and are planning more in the near future. All in all, life is busier than ever and yet it seems like we're enjoying it at our own pace too...can't ask for more than that!

Will and Shelley had a dinner to go to a while back so we watched Chet and Zane for a few hours one night. They didn't get back until late so Chet and Zoe were able to giggle in bed together! We colored eggs and Ryan took them on a hike around the property.

Zoe and Ryan planting tomato, jalapeno and green pepper seeds. The plants are much bigger now than this picture.

Milah came and stayed the night a few weeks ago so she could watch the kids and I could get some final boxes unpacked.

Mom had rotator cuff surgery so she was able to just sit around and love up on Kaia.

The dogs have killed a bunch of our chickens since we've moved here. This is them being tied to the dead chickens for a couple days while they "thought" about what they did. (They still go after them if they can)

Rachel's birthday was March 27th. I made a chocolate cheesecake with strawberry syrup...YUMM! Zoe and Gabe "helped" blow out the candles

I took a shower one day and I get out to Zoe having COATED herself in Vasoline! Three baths and four days later it finally disappeared!

I got this bath seat for Kaia off craigslist. It is awesome! She loves being able to sit and play by herself and Zoe loves to have someone to play with!

Ben and Mindy came down a couple weekends ago. Ben went snowmobiling with Ryan and Mindy made sugar cookies with Zoe

Chet showing his cooking and Zoe eating hers

Kissing cousins...this is the kind of picture they'll hate us for when they get older! :)

Zoe fell asleep with her baby during nap

We went to Mom and Dad's for Easter Sunday. They had a potluck after meeting so we set up an egg hunt for the kids

Last week a few of us moms went to the Gilbert Discovery Village in Salem. Some of their activities are geared for kids a little bit older than Zoe but she liked playing in the Bubble room and with the art stuff. Their HUGE play structure outside was hit with all the kids.

I hadn't seen Zoe in a while so I went to look for her...this is what I found! She was exhausted!

The best picture I could get of all the kids where you can kind of tell who all of them are!: Tayler & Reese, Zoe & Kaia, Gabriel and Josh & Zach

The best picture I could get of the girls together enjoying our beautiful weather

This pretty tree is right off of our front deck. Anyone know what it is called?

Cody's birthday was on the 17th. Zoe made him this very creative birthday hat so he could rock out on Wii Rock Band

We went up to Ben and Mindy's on Saturday for the night. We bribed Zoe into being a good girl by taking her on a choo-choo (MAXX) ride and buying her ice cream! It worked too!
