That man even found us when we were camping! He looked so down-trodden that I just had to feed him and give him a bed. But like clockwork, he would disappear every morning muttering something about "sign" and "bulls"
We may not be excited to camp in a gravel pit but we sure do like our licorice!
Zoe and Blue at elk camp. This is how excited we are to be here. Wheee!
My gypsy child
Kaia trying to feed Tex more rocks. He figured out really quickly that they aren't so edible no matter how many she tries to stuff down his throat!
And books! We read a lot of books! A lot of books......
No matter where you take it, a bath is always fun
I do feel bad for ragging on Ryan. It's true that he keeps telling me that he's "providing for his family" and no, he hasn't got an elk yet but I'm pretty sure that is just an excuse. He loves, and I mean LOVES, being outside in the mountains. Honestly, if we lived a few hundred years earlier, he'd be a mountain man; complete with a beaver hat and bristly beard. He loves it that much. In fact, come to think of it, maybe this is all a ploy to make sure he drags the season out for as long as possible. I'll have to ask him about that....the next time I see him, that is.

Hope he gets one. I wish Chris was slightly more interested in getting us a freezer full of meat but I sure do enjoy him being around the majority of the time. Like I said just slightly more interested. Not mountain man style or anything. :)
JP! You are so funny! I can't believe it was your little baby's b-day! She is so sweet!
You can always come and visit. Happy Birthday to Kaia. Hugs!
HB to Kaia!! I know the feeling although this year the FIRES have over taken the hunting trips, which he is really bummed about, and I guess I can't complain to much because with the fires he REALLY is providing for our family, since that's his job and ALL!! :) You can come visit us too, anytime!! :)
