There is a funny story behind this picture of Zoe with no pants! Monday afternoon Zoe was taking her nap and I needed to come help Ryan at the house so Lisa said she'd wait for Zoe to wake up and then come over in the evening. The Weld family stopped at the store on their way over here and Zoe says she has to go "pee pee." They are only a few minutes away so they say "Just wait, you can go pee when we get to the house." Poor Zoe could not wait that long and so she walks in with a large wet spot on her pants and leaves an even larger one in the Weld carseat! Add on top of that that they forgot to put shoes on her and you'd wonder how their 3 kids have survived this far!
Will primering the walls at about oh, 1 am Monday night/Tuesday morning!

Zoe is very excited to have her own room!
Wednesday I was basically in the car all day driving to Albany and back to get more paint since we kept running out. Very annoying. Ryan calls me and asks how many walls are supposed to be pink.
I say: Only 2 and then the green is supposed to be on all 4 walls on the bottom.
He says: What! I thought you said the pink was on the bottom!
Me: Why would I say that?! Why would a picket fence be covering pink? Its supposed to look like grass!
Ryan: Thats what I thought but last night I asked what color was on the bottom and you said pink.
Me: I would never say that! Stop painting right now! Put down the paint brush and walk away! (I added a few more choice words at this point but as they are fairly colorful I should probably not write them for fear of sounding too mean!)
Me very, very mad
Its always up to the woman to fix a man's mistakes!
Dad and Kiana came over on Thursday afternoon to put up the picket fence. Thanks so much! Kiana painted the back of Zoe's door with chalkboard paint. Fun fun!

Moving in!
After a week of non-stop painting and moving we are TOTALLY wiped out!
Nana showed up today to help us organize our house. Thank goodness! We need some serious help! Zoe was exhausted by the end of the day so she got rocked to sleep!
We owe many thanks to so many people who helped us out with this transition: Craig, who painted those first colors even though he put his foot down at pink! Shereen, for some delicious cookies! Will, for staying up all hours of the night painting. Shelley, for putting up with my sick child (for THREE days!!!) and then getting sick yourselves...I owe you! Scott, Lisa & kids, a thousand thanks for everything would not suffice. And many others who have offered their homes in case we were evicted by our landlords before we found a house! Thank goodness it didn't come to that!
