Nettie tagged me so here it goes:

The rules of being tagged:
1. link to the person that tagged you, and post the rules on your blog.
2. share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.
3. tag 7 people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
4. let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I'm "anal" (according to Rachel) about loud noises when Zoe is sleeping. She is getting better but is still a light sleeper so I tiptoe around the house when she's napping.

2.I love to cook but don't really like to eat my own food. Recipes are like puzzles so I love to figure them out but once the puzzle has been solved I'm no longer interested and want to move on to the next one.

3.I'm OCD when it comes to the light switches in this house. There are a few two-way switches so if the light is on then the switch needs to be up. Then if one of the switches is up on a panel of three switches then the other 2 switches need to be up also.

4.I HATE chain letters. The whole if-you-dont-send-this-to-everyone-on-your-email-list-right-away-then-in-exactly-7-minutes-you'll-get-a-phone-call-and-die! is a little unbelieveable! Even this "tagged" thing is a little too much for me but I'll do it because I have nothing else to post.

5.I make lists for everything. If I dont make a grocery list then there is no point in even going the store because I'll just wander around aimlessly.

6.I make a menu every week. This probably has to do with the list thing but it works so good for me. I go thru my favorite cookbook (Taste of Home) and try and plan well balanced meals for my family. Its a great way to try new things but Ryan does complain about the lack of just a good ol' steak.

7.I used to shower every morning. Then in college, I spent a semester in Mexico and we were told that showering every day might not be an option for some of us so I cut back to every other morning. This worked well until I had two children. Showering in the morning became showering around 2pm and since that made me feel gross now I shower every other night so Ryan can watch the kids.
