I don't remember Princess Diana and Prince Charles getting married because I wasn't even born yet, but I've seen the pictures. Absolutely dreamy! (Regardless of how their future together turned out.)
There is something so magical about royalty. I think part of the allure is because we don't have any such monarchy here in the US. And then there is the fairytale romance of a real-life Prince falling in love with a Commoner! A perfect love story!
I even made Hot Crossed Buns for a true British flair! ;)
