Happy Thanksgiving

Apparently I was misleading on my previous post. According to feedback I have received, some of you loyal blog followers were either expecting to hear wedding bells or a baby crying. If that was your expectation, this post is going to be rather dull. We did go to Salt Lake City to meet Scott's family (who are incredibly wonderful, by the way) and we also met with an adoption agency while there that we have decided to work with. Other than that, no permanent living arrangements have been made for either family so you'll have to content yourself with unexciting pictures of very fun times. Perhaps there will be more news after Christmas.... :)

As is obvious in this picture....we had been in the car too long!

Ryan loves driving when its snowing and icey!

Making snow angels in the....well, snow....duh!

The master chef prepping the turkey!

Judy (Scott's aunt), Tom (Scott's dad) and Jim (Scott's uncle) doing the 'thankfuls'

My, my. What big eyes you have!

Can you find the 3 little dogs?

This is the first time (and probably the last) I have ever seen Mitch do anything in a kitchen that did not involve eating. Even Nancy had to get a picture of this rare occurance.

Playing Memory with Auntie Angie and Tom

I have no idea what just happened but I love this picture. Bob was quite a hit with the girls.

Zoe snuggling Andrew's new puppy. She named her Ariel but I don't know if that resonated so well with Andrew :)

At the Stack house there is always a "Talent Show" at the end of the weekend. Bryan, Mitch, Andrew and Scott had to show off their amazing musical abilities (sorry the quality is so terrible)

On the way home we hit another big storm in Boise. Soooo glad I don't have to drive. I get stressed enough just riding in the passenger seat.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Holiday. Only 24 more shopping days until Christmas!

Hmmm, I could've told you that Scott's family is wonderful. I'm right with you on the winter driving. I think next time Scott may have Danner sit in the seat beside him and there's a pretty good chance that I will be in the kennel.

Thanks for sharing your photos. It looks like you had as much fun as we did driving too Northern Idaho. I get stressed on these types of roads too. I am glad to be home all safe and sound.
