Homemade Picnic

Tuesday night we had our dinner on the grass. Yes, we do have a dining table inside the house but it was a nice evening so I thought maybe a picnic would be fun. Actually, I have a confession to make...I had no idea of what to make for dinner and the only thing I could scrounge up was tuna and cucumbers. So to make it look like I put a lot of effort into feeding my family, I put a blanket on the ground, sandwiches on a plate and voila! A picnic dinner with no one (Ryan) complaining about the lack of effort involved! I see a few more of these in our future! :)

I am inwardly smiling to myself at the great trick I have played!
