Kaia

I am smitten with these big blue eyes

Can't figure out why she can see outside and yet isn't exactly outside herself

Some of my cousins from Alaska are down visiting and they kept the kids very entertained after meeting Wed. nite

This is part of the solution to Kaia's latest handicap. She has Camptodactyly in her right baby finger. It is a trait that usually has some familial ties; my right baby finger is exactly 30 degrees from straight just as her's is. So she is now wearing this splint as often as we can get her into it to try and correct the muscle/tendon problem that causes it. I'm surprised that it doesn't bother her more than it does...she crawls around just like usual and if anything she thinks its pretty neat to have a permanent chew toy attached to her hand!

hmmm...Camptodactyly, funny thing...I remember always watching your pinky stick out like that when you were eating yogurt at the fish cannery in Alaska...just thought you were being very dainty! Random thought I know:)
