On Fri. I met Aunt at Nana and Papa's for lunch. I had some errands to run in Albany so Aunt kept Zoe and then met me later at Mom and Dad's. Here she is reading some books to a very sleepy little girl
Nana and Papa with the girls
Aunt Zona and Grandma Coats with Kaia. Zoe is Grandma's 10th great great-grandchild but we're not sure about Kaia
Dad, Ryan and Brandon went duck hunting Sat. morning. Their reward for getting up at 5am? One lousy duck! (Credit goes to Dad)
Kaia had a terrible night Fri. nite at Mom and Dad's so Sat. afternoon Kiana said she'd hold her while I took a nap. I woke up to them sleeping on the couch all cuddled together...so sweet!
Kaia's first immersion bath. She loved it but kept trying to "nurse" the water that was touching her cheeks
I had to add this picture just because I'm not sure exactly what she's doing...maybe trying to frown?
Last night Ryan let Zoe drive from the chicken coop to the house. Needless to say, the driveway now looks like a very non-sober person drove up it! Zoe thought it was a blast though and judging from his face, Ryan did too. I was a little scared!
This morning Zoe was playing with her puppy when she announced that he went "poo-poo." She laid him down in the living room on her "boo" (she always lays down on her boo when I change her diaper) and then went and dug out the wipes, diaper rash cream and a diaper from the diaper bag. She spent about 20 min. wiping the dog and then putting cream on his tail. It was so cute!
Yesterday Kaia got her heel pricked for some newborn testing. Zoe was pretty concerned and when Kaia got a bandaid Zoe needed one too! This morning Zoe's fell off and she started bawling! So we got another bandaid for her and then she said that her baby needed one too. Here they all are with their "owies"
4 weeks old - my how time flies!
Ryan, Zoe, Chet, Kaia and I went to Toby's football game yesterday. While I left my camera in the car so I didn't any pictures, I do want to say "Way to go Toby!!" He made a touchdown off an interception!!!!
