Hunting season is upon us again and while Ryan has been religiously scouting elk during the off season he hasn't had much luck in finding them this first week. Go figure! He gets all those cool pictures on his camera but they refuse to come back to that area once he's waiting in his tree stand. But since he's up at the crack of dawn he does get to see some pretty neat sunrises...
And at least fresh elk rubs mean he is close...
Hunting season also means rain will soon be upon us and the need for a heated house is imminent so Zoe helped me stack firewood today. She did get a tiny sliver in her hand but was a very good sport and held still while I tweezed it out!
