Rafting trip

This weekend we headed down to Medford for the annual rafting trip. It was hot and sunny and of course I forgot to take any pictures on Saturday so you'll just have to take my word for it that we all had fun. Ryan went fishing in the morning but had no luck then we (me, Rachel, Gabe, Chet & Zoe) met him at the Rogue River dam to float down the river. The kids thought it was great until about the last 1/2 hour when they started to get cranky from lack of sleep and food. Zoe and Gabe fell asleep at the park where we had the picnic but Chet, being the social butterfly that he is, had to wait until we were in the car on our way to taco salad at Murphy's! We stayed at Doug and Kylee's who had TONS of toys to keep the kids busy and they loved playing with Kiera when she finally showed up on Sunday morning. We dropped Chet off at home on Sunday evening so he could get more acquainted with his little brother and Gabe cried and cried when he saw that we weren't taking Chet with us. Rachel said he woke up in the middle of the night last night calling for Chet too! Awww...they became such good friends!
